Helping Hands of Paulding County Donation Pickup Volunteers pick up food donations at various local stores on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Description:
Volunteers load donations onto our 20’ refrigerated truck from the stores’ loading docks. When finished picking up, the truck and volunteers return to Helping Hands to unload the donations. Everything is taken into the pantry and weighed, then is either put into the refrigerator/freezer or unboxed. The work is moderately strenuous, and volunteers should be capable of lifting at least 25 lbs.
We prefer to have a team of 3 or 4 volunteers for this job. Some pickup volunteers choose to volunteer the rest of the day at the pantry, while others leave when the delivery is finished. The choice is yours!

Helping Hands of Paulding County GA is a vital coalition of churches, businesses, civic groups, and caring individuals representing community partnership at its very best. We are open Monday-Friday 10am - 1:30pm.
