We are looking for people who love cats and want to help the community to join our board. Blind Cat Rescue is a non-discriminatory rescue with our animals and practices the same policy with our members too.

Applying as a Board Member with Blind Cat Rescue we require each person to share our passion for saving animals, becoming the solution to our overpopulation pet crisis and want to help the animals and people of our community become stronger.

We are looking for 3-6 members who would like to grow with us. You'll be required to attend bi-monthly meetings, be assigned certain tasks to better our organization, show your support in the community as a board member, help maintain community/corporation/sponsorship relationships in addition to gaining new ones, oversee our operations & finances, vote/veto laws & by-laws of the organization and more.

Blind Cat Rescue always welcomes ideas, advice, and are open to feedback & criticism regardless if it is positive or negative since everyone can always improve on something. Our open door policy allows for a laid back environment which is family oriented already. Having strong community ties will assist you in being placed appropriately on our board and will ensure your seat for at least 1-3 years since our foundation is based on community and our impact on it.

We do require a demonstration of commitment before joining the board of a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer time.

We are open for visitors to play with the cats Monday - Saturdays noon -4

If you would like to come help us with the chores of cleaning and then play with the animals, we start at 8:30 am. No visitors allowed on Sunday.
