Immediate need for volunteers to deliver prepared meals to homebound seniors in communities throughout Palos and Orland Townships. Commit to driving one weekday morning per week, only 2-3hours start to finish. Exceptionally rewarding experience helps elderly neighbors remain in their homes. Meals are packed by PLOWS and ready for pick up at our office for local deliveries. Great opportunity for adults of all ages. Join our amazing, compassionate team!

PLOWS Council on Aging is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting older people who reside in Palos, Lemont, Orland and Worth Townships. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of persons 60 years of age or older by providing the highest level of service to those who are physically, psychologically, and/or financially in need and treating those persons and family with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Welcome to PLOWS Council on Aging PLOWS Council on Aging is a non-profit social service organization serving individuals 60 years of age and older in Palos, Lemont, Orland and Worth Townships. In the four townships there are twenty municipalities and 70,000 persons over the ago of 60. PLOWS places special emphasis on helping maintain people in their homes and provides a number of services with that objective in mind. Our staff strive to assist older adults and their families with whatever concern may be paramount to them.
