Compassion Community Clinic is looking for volunteer dental hygienists. If you love to see people smile and have just 5 hours every 3-4 months, then CC Clinic would like to talk to you about volunteering. CC Clinic is a faith based dental clinic which offers free dental care to low income adults who have no insurance. The clinic is open 3 times per month - 2 Saturdays and 1 Friday. We ask that volunteers commit to one clinic (approximately 4-5 hours) per quarter. If you would like to make a difference is someone's life, we would love to hear from you. Compassion Community Clinic, a free clinic, provides faith-based dental care to underserved adults in Northern Nevada through Christ Jesus, the Great Healer.
Description
CC Clinic is a 501(c)3 which opened it's doors in December 2013 to meet a critical need in our community. CC Clinic is the first and only ongoing, free dental clinic. Thousands of Nevadans have no access to receive the dental care they so desperatly need. CC Clinic offers increased access to quality dental care in a compassionate atmosphere. Basic, emergent dental treatments of fillings, extractions, and cleanings will be available. In addition, trained Prayer Partners will assist patients in registering and offer them prayer and information about Jesus Christ, while affirming their dignity as made in God's image. No fees will be charged, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
