The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Brooklyn is one of the largest breast cancer awareness events in the nation. The money raised through the event helps save many lives by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.

As the largest voluntary health organization in the country, we count on volunteers and volunteer driven organizations, agencies and companies to help make this event run smoothly and efficiently. The walk is on October 16th, 2016 located in Prospect Park and we need your help! Our volunteers help with important event details such as check in, water stations, information, and more. You’re there to help make the event truly special and to join, encourage, and support those in the fight against breast cancer!
