Join our Nutrition volunteer team and help us create a positive social environment while serving healthy meals to seniors. Community Dining Site volunteers assist Meal Site Managers in the daily operations of the lunch program. Responsibilities include set-up, check-in, service, and clean-up. Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30am to 1:30pm.

Description

Springwell, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, is part of a statewide network of Aging Services Access Points and nationwide network of Area Agencies on Aging that coordinate care services to enhance the quality of life for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families. Services include homemaking, personal care, grocery shopping, home delivered meals, transportation, and more. Volunteers provide vital help delivering meals, doing grocery shopping, visiting with isolated older adults, helping with budgeting and monthly bills, and advocating for those living in nursing homes.
