Make a difference in our community! Change the life of an individual and their family by becoming a mentor. We are looking for supportive women and men who will commit to spend time with people coming out of the correctional system, being a guide, friend, and coach in their lives. (We especially need volunteers over 35 years of age.) This relationship will help improve many areas of their life including employment, family, parenting, spiritual and basic life skills. The mentoring relationship will last a year to a life time and will reduce the likelihood of the mentee returning to incarceration. Training and emotional support will be provided to each mentor throughout the year. Approval process includes background check, interview, and references; however, individuals with a judicial or addiction history are encouraged to participate.
