The Foundation Fighting Blindness will hold the 5th Annual Dining in the Dark Visionary Awards Dinner on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 at the Urban Garden in the Ritz-Carlton in Uptown Charlotte. Dining in the Dark presents a powerful dining exeperience that plunges you into a world of sensitivity you have never experienced before, taking you through a unique journey, all while dining in the dark.
This year's honorees include Ron Rivera, the head coach for the Carolina Panthers and Felix Sabates, NASCAR team owner and philanthropist.
We are in need of volunteers to help check in guests and to help ensure that our silent and live auctions run smoothly and efficiently. All job opportunities are listed below. Please be sure to let me know which positions you wish to fill. Note: this is not a guarantee of assignment in this position.
1. Greeter (5 Needed): Welcomes guests and helps get them checked into event. Issues table number and bid number. Will help with final checkout.
2. Greeter Assistant (2 Needed): Assists Greeter in any way needed. Will help assist greeter in final checkout.
3. Clerk (2 Needed): Assists in the Live Auction and Raise the Paddle
4. Runner (3 Needed): Helps with Silent and Live Auction Items at Checkout.
