Position: Service Unit Fall Product Sale Manager
Accountable to: Service Unit Manager and Director of Product Sales Program. Service Unit Manager
appoints.
Term: One Year Appointed Annually
Summary: The Service Unit Fall Product Sale Manager is responsible for implementing the Fall
Product Sale program within her/his service unit.
Accountabilities
 Promote the Fall Product Sale program in your service unit
 Attend Service Unit Fall Product Sale Training
 Responsible for coordinating and facilitating training for troops in her/his service unit
 Responsible for the distribution of troop and girl Fall Product Sale program materials
 Assist troops throughout the Fall Product Sale for her/his service unit
 Collect and review orders, bank deposits, receipts and incentive paperwork from troops via the web based Fall Product Sale Program software
 Prepare and submit service unit orders and paperwork to the Council office - Must be able to have Internet access to check and enter orders via the web. Must also have access to receive Federal Express package delivery or have access for Federal Express to pick up package at your home.
 Secure location for service unit nut/candy product delivery and coordinate delivery of product to troops
 Responsible for receiving and distributing incentive items to troops in the service unit
Requirements
 Registered as a member of the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.
 Must take adequate training for position
 Recognize, understand, accept and support all GSUSA and Council goals, policies, standards and Affirmative Action Statement
 Committed to adherence to deadlines
 Demonstrate a willingness and ability to participate in Fall Product Sale training events
 Provide clear instructions to individuals and troops
 Demonstrated ability to manage reports and financial records
 Requires approximately five hours a week for a four week period in the Fall
