Third Street Academy at Third Street Community Center is in need of mature individuals who are interested in pre-scheduled, ongoing volunteer opportunities. This would be an excellent opportunity for a retired person to have fun, meet people, and help others. Duties would include but may not be limited to:
Checking participants and students in and out of programming or school
Helping serve pre-prepared breakfast and snacks for our Kindergarten and 1st grade students
Welcoming visitors
Answering the telephone
Operating office equipment

We have morning and afternoon opportunities. We are interested in people who will commit to a regular schedule but we are somewhat flexible in terms of times/days. A background check will be required, and we are a Christian organization.
