As winter turns to Spring The Blessing House needs some help in taking care of our grounds and preparing the flowerbeds and lawn for visitors. We have roles for everyone, from planting, to mowing, and painting to clearing . Whther you're an experience horiculturist, or have never been in a garden before we would love to have you help.
Key jobs may include:
- Planting flowers for the year
- Making sure that we have everything unpacked from the shed after Winter
- chopping down/cutting back damaged trees
- Helping to clear paths to The Blessing House after snow or ice
We have a small 'garden club' of regular volunteers which meets weekly on Tuesday afternoons, or volunteers can come on a different day at their convenience.

Even if you decide not to volunteer, we hope you'll pay us a visit to enjoy our space, help yourself to coffee and relax.

The Blessing House is a unique home like community center dedicated to nurturing the spirit and body of all who enter. We are a non-profit, non-denominational Christian entity.
What takes place here depends on who God brings to our doors to be blessed. Individuals, groups and organizations fill the Blessing House with their activities, both sacred and secular. Our hope is that all our guests find a place of belonging, enriched conversation, authentic friendships and joy because of the presence of the Holy Spirit.
