Our Discovery room is an important part of our Education Center. Children and adults of all ages spend time in this room, looking out the big windows at the wildlife at the feeders, reading books, looking at our indoor bee hive, and enjoying the craft and other items to touch. We are looking for someone to keep the Discovery room "fresh" each month. The themes are already set, just need someone to help implement them. Depending on the skill set, this could be done independly, with some guideance of course. This is a fun opportunity to learn about Nature, be creative, and REALLY make a difference.
Tasks would include:
*basic cleaning
*change of toys, books, natural objects, promotional flyers
*create education materials on a previously chosen Seasonal Occurence (IE seed dispersal) and display on our bulletin board
*set up a craft
*Fill bird feeders
