ORGANIZATION: Solano Symphony Orchestra

1. Experieinced Treasurer for a non-profit organization. Annual budget aprox. $200,000. Must be able to prepare a balance sheet, profit and loss sheet and other financial documents. Must be able to supervise and work closely with other financial officers.

2. Assisting Financial officerto work under the direction of the Treasurer to reconcile monthly bank statements and prerare payroll for approximately 60 people using Quickbooks software; as part of doing payroll, estimate and record federal/local taxes for five concerts.

3. Assisting Financial officer to work under the direction of the Treasurer to pick up and distribute mail to appropropriate financial people. Forward bills to be paid to Treasurer and prepare deposits and share information with the Treasurer.

All financial officers must live in the Vacaville/Fairfield area, have transportation and be able to attend an evening board meeting once a month.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills and very good computer skills and be familiar with and able to use software compatible with financial programs.

Description

Under the baton of Maestro Semyon Lohss, an honor graduate of the Leningrad Conservatory with more than 30 years experience in orchestral and choral conducting, the Solano Symphony Orchestra performs five concerts each season in Vacaville, Calif. Additionally, the Symphony Board and Musicians work to engage youth in our community to expand their knowledge in music and showcase their talent through our annual Young Artist Competition and Salute to Youth Concert.
