Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes is part of the American Diabetes Association’s "Stop Diabetes" movement. This signature one day fundraising and awareness walk takes place in 120 cities across the United States. Step Out helps raise money that will change the future of diabetes and improve the lives of 29.1 million American children and adults living with diabetes today. Participants will join the movement by registering and recruiting coworkers, friends and family members to walk and raise money. The day of the event is a party to celebrate the fundraising accomplishments of our teams and individuals as well as an opportunity to promote the services offered by the American Diabetes Association and to spread awareness about the seriousness of diabetes in the local community. More than a dozen health and wellness vendors will be onsite with information and giveaways for attendees.
