The Campo Verde High School Robotics Team, the Lemon Bots, is dedicated to inspiring teamwork, curiosity, out-of-the-box thinking, and real-world problem solving.

Description

The CVHS Robotics Team has two or three teams each year, each with between two and five members. Each team goes through their own design process, identifying the strategy they intend to use and then executing it to the best of their abilities. They work both collaboratively and competitively, seeking to help each other in the shop and beat each other on the field. When one team may not know how to do something, they simply ask another for assistance. Each team has a designated team leader, who is in charge of the paperwork and management of the students on their team. These team leaders will regularly meet with their mentors in order to discuss things that the team may need, such as additional parts, and are generally responsible for the day-to-day running of the club.
