Buddy Walks are a national event of the National Down Syndrome Society held across the United States each fall to bring awareness and support to individuals born with Down syndrome and their families. There about 2,000 participants at our event each year which come to support the community while enjoying the entertainment, carnival games, pony rides, mini jet rides, face painting, sports, food, a live DJ...and of course the walk! Each year, about 100 volunteers help make this event happen by helping with registration, games, set up and break down, guiding traffic, etc.
