The Walk to Defeat ALS is our biggest fundraiser! The money we raise serves the ALS patients in our community.
Our walks have proven to be enthusiastic, fun, inspiring, successful and we need you to help us build on what already works well.
As you have been hearing and reading, we are growing!! Thanks to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge we have been able to do more than we ever have before! We are truly blessed to have recieved this help. But there is still a HUGE need.
People living with the disease need hope to fuel their battle with ALS. Participating in the Walk offers hope, increases awareness and generates funds that will continue to make an impact for months and years ahead.
Volunteering at the Walk is a great way to be an integral part of something pretty spectacular, while helping us out in a major way.
Bring your family, friends, co-workers, whoever along with you, everyone is welcome! This IS going to be "the best Walk ever"........come be part of it!
Some of the Specific Needs we have are:
Registration (sign in the participants to our walk)
Handing out T-shirts /Prizes
Accounting
Security
Set up of Tables/Tents/Chairs/Walk Arch
Volunteer Check-in
Directing Parking
Cheering on Participants
And more!
This is only 3-4 hour commitment! If you have a few hours to spare this is the perfect opportunity for you!
If you have any questions please contact Daphne at 425-656-1650 or Email at Daphne@alsa-ec.org
