Our current fundraising and budget is <$20,000 per year, but we're in the process of applying for funding to have a budget of $2-3 million per year, and our eventual goal is $10 million per year.
We have zero paid staff and only two people who incur expenses, so our needs for bookkeeping are quite simple for now, but we're hoping your role will grow into something quite big. We helped Malawi create their first 8 child abuse treatment centers, and we're ready to grow to more countries.
A friend taught me long ago that accountants need to be involved at the beginning planning stages, not involved in the aftermath, so that's what I'm doing. Previous experience with nonprofits is preferred but not required. And we'll need your help in planning how our accounting needs will grow!

About BRANCH - Building Regional Alliances to Nurture Child Health
Location:
2 Gold St. #513, New York, NY 10038, US
Mission Statement
Our mission is to develop the capacity of health systems in low- and middle-income countries to address child maltreatment as a public health issue.
Description
After working as a child abuse pediatrician in the Bronx for 10 years, Dr. Aaron Miller founded BRANCH in order to empower local leaders in developing countries to address child maltreatment. We provide trainings and technical support to the medical, legal and social service agencies. In Malawi we've worked with Ministry of Health and UNICEF to create their first 8 child abuse treatment centers, and we're ready to grow our work to more countries!
