We have a variety of opportunities to help disabled Veterans. We need several people to open and close the center Monday through Friday, teach golf to Veterans using a para-golfer, start a horseshoe league, assist Veterans in applying for benefits, prepare and serve meals, assist in repairs to our building, apply for grant money, office secretarial work, attract volunteers and donations.

The mission of Veterans Golf Park is to provide a meeting place where all Veterans and their families can come together and learn to cope with their injuries and build camaraderie through golf, other sports and social activities.
Description
Situated in the historic Sylvan Schoolhouse in Citrus Heights, California, the Veterans Golf Park strives to teach coping methods to all Veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) and the many other physical and psychological wounds that Veterans suffer from as a result of their military service.
