Soccer Coach -after school girls soccer - Oyler School
ORGANIZATION: Activities Beyond the Classroom
Please visit the new page to apply.
Activities Beyond the Classroom provides After School Girls Soccer at 22 Cincinnati Public Schools. We rely on volunteer coaches to teach the girls basic, instructional soccer. Most schools are able to find someone to coach the soccer: a teacher, a staff person as the school, a parent or a resident from the neighborhood. The Resource Coordinators at the schools do a great job finding these volunteers but sometimes they need help finding a head coach or an assistant coach. Oyler School needs a soccer coach and an assistant soccer coach on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 from mid-September until the end of October. The after school staff will coordinate getting the girls to practice. You just need to come coach and supervise.
There is a Soccer Coaches Clinic on Thursday, Sept 3, and another one on Wed, Sept 9th, from 4-6pm. You need to attend one of these clinics to learn the basics and meet the other coaches.

Description
Activities Beyond the Classroom (ABC), formerly the Student Activity Foundation, was founded in 2004 to increase and enhance extracurricular activities in Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS). We raise funds from corporations, foundations and individuals to support those activities. ABC sponsors programs across the District, from Youth Tennis and Soccer, to Arts Enrichment and Martial Arts.
In addition, through a partnership established with CPS in 2011, we manage the athletic purchasing budgets of 13 high schools, and the Athletic Directors at 9 of those schools are employees of ABC.
We also host booster funds for a variety of CPS programs and activities.
