Are you looking to give back to your community? Are you passionate about sports such as basketball? We are searching for positive adults to serve as Head Coaches for our youth elementary and middle school basketball teams this year. Our organization, YFE , is helping to support youth athletic programs in Daly City and are in the process of becoming accredited through the USA Basketball Youth Development Program. Our goals is to create a system of youth coaches educated under the guidelines and curriculum set forth by USA Basketball through our organization YFE.
The season starts in January and runs through March.
Practics are 1-2 times per week for about an hour and an hour and a half. Games are normally on Saturdays or sometimes on Fridays. Games take place in local Daly City basketball gyms.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
All coaches would need to go through the USA Basketball Coaches course to become certified, pass a background check and get fingerprinted through our school district.
Must be at least 18 or older to coach.
