Redmond Historical Society, a non-profit corporation, is seeking a bookkeeper with current Quickbooks knowledge and skills to assist the Treasurer in posting the day to day transactions of the Society, including but not limited to:
- Count cash & balance cashiers drawer and petty cash box
- Donations, grants, and membership dues receipts -- Sales slips
- Merchandise sales -- Sales slips
- Expenses and bills -- Invoices
- Prepare checks for signature
- Semi-monthly Receive Time card/issue payroll checks (one part time employee)
- Bank Deposits and transfers
- Bank Account Reconciliation
- Interest allocations
- P&L and Balance sheets for Board Meetings
- Quarterly L&I, Employment Security, and IRS 941 filing/payments
- Quarterly EFTPS payments
- Annual State Excise tax filings
- Annual IRS 990 N postcard filing
- Annual W-3, W-2 and 1099/1096 forms
Requires a bookkeeping or accounting background and working knowledge of Quickbooks (premier, non-profit edition). Please ask for a Volunteer Application and reference forms.
