We need a group of volunteers to help us market our upcoming 5K run on October 6, 2019. The opportunity involves passing out door hangers to 76 homes on September 28, 2019. Volunteers would need to be dependable and have transportation to get to the homes. We will provide a map and more information prior to the volunteer day, we just need more hands on deck to get the word out.

About H.O.P.E, Inc. (Helping Other People be Empowered)
Location:
P.O Box 3166, Duluth, GA 30096, US
Mission Statement
H.O.P.E, Incorporated’s mission is to serve low-income single parents working to obtain a college degree by providing assistance in subsidized housing, childcare assistance, social services, and life skills training.
Description
H.O.P.E, Inc. (Helping Other People be Empowered) began in November 2009 as a passion and a focus of the CEO. As a former single parent who struggled to complete her B.B.A and M.B.A, she noticed that there was not much support for single parents trying to finish their education. Our mission is serving low-income single parents working to obtain a college degree by providing assistance in subsidized housing, child care assistance, social services, and life skills. The organization will assist these single-parents by providing them with subsidized housing vouchers (not exceeding $400 a month) and child care vouchers (not exceeding $100 a week) while they are attending an accredited college. (For each year enrolled in school, up to four years as long as the individual maintains a "B" grade point average). The vouchers will be directly paid to the apartment leasing offices and direct child care providers on behalf of the program participants.
