Library beautifiers pick up materials left behind by patrons and return them to the reference desk. They also straighten books on shelves, pick up trash, and ensure the floor looks tidy.
Activities
1. Retrieve books to return to the reference desk
2. Pick up stray pieces of trash from the floor
3. Straighten books on shelves
4. Water plants
Desired Qualities
1. Minimum age: 15
2. Works well independently
3. Comfortable lifting books (up to five pounds) and being on feet
Training and Support
Training and gloves will be provided.
Time Commitment
3 months, 4 hours/month
