Main Library Generalist
Main Library Generalist
Hours: Department Hours at 9AM to 1PM Monday -(2 or 3 hour volunteer shift) Friday No weekend or evenings available.
Responsibilities: Come be a generalist by maximizing your peak experiences in the Logistics department!! Create a vibrant book sale at Main Library! Work your magic on sorting materials to correct locations. Learn how a mail room works by doing the accompanying tasks. See new items being received and assist in the process. No two days are exactly alike. See a part of the library you never knew existed!!
Qualifications: Big smile and a "can do" attitude!! Great attention to detail. Ability to concentrate and remain focused on repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Be available from 9-1 (a portion of that time span) one day a week.
Training: On the job - hands on training
As Volunteers: You will acquire new skills and gain experience while helping the library achieve its goals. Free parking available. Chocolate always on site!
