ORGANIZATION: Santa Cruz Public Libraries - Downtown Library

Do you have two hours a week to help a student succeed? Become a Homework Helper at the Santa Cruz Public Library's Downtown Branch.

Under the supervision of a California Certified Teacher, assist students with their homework assignments. Homework Helpers should be able to instruct in a range of subjects, with an emphasis on math and grammar skills. Spanish highly desired.

* Assist students with homework assignments
* Monitor Homework Help supplies and equipment
* Assist/instruct students in the use of library databases and other resources

Commitment: 3:00-5:00pm every Tuesday. Starts week of September 28, 2015 through May 25, 2016
