Hi, we are looking for 12 volunteers for the Apple Valley Firefighters’ Association Booya fund raiser event on Saturday, September 19. The event is at Fire Station #1, 15000 Hayes Road, in Apple Valley. This is a great event for individuals to volunteer but also families with youth ages 13 and up. It is a family event however so younger kids can come if there is someone to be with them while you volunteer. We need 6 volunteers at each shift. 7am-Noon 11am-4pm Volunteers will be given a t-shirt to wear while they work, so once you commit, we will need to know what size t-shirt you would like. The duties would be assisting with light activities that could include; •setting up tables and chairs •setting up jumpers •watching over jumpers during the day •clearing and bussing tables •stirring Booya •serving Booya •parking guides Let me know if you are interested, and if so what shift you prefer.
