About SOAR 55
SOAR 55 is a volunteer-connector organization for adults aged 55 and over who would like to share their professional and experience-based skills with local public and nonprofit organizations that need help in Newton and Metro West. We offer a personalized, professional and unique approach to matching each individual with a rewarding and satisfying volunteer opportunity. SOAR 55 has more than 300 volunteers serving at 90 sites in assignments that range from tutoring children, mentoring college enrolled inmates, assuming leadership roles in nonprofit organizations, to management consulting.
SOAR 55 is part of a national network of RSVP volunteer agencies under the federal Umbrella of the Corporation for National & Community Service. www.soar55.org
