Young Athlete Program is designed to instruct athletes age 2-7 in learning gross motor skills needed for future participation in sport. Volunteers must be a least 16 years old and can pick/choose which day(s) they are interested in volunteering for. Experience is not required and orientation is provided on site. Special Olympics New Jersey provides year-round training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities or other related developmental disabilities.

Description

Special Olympics New Jersey provides sports training to athletes through local school, agency and community programs that compete on the Area (county), Sectional and Chapter levels in 24 sports throughout all four sports seasons.
