NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! Training and ongoing support by YMCA READS! staff will be provided. A minimum commitment of 2 hours per school week is required. Afternoon hours Mon 2:00-5:00;Tues-Fri 1:00-5:00pm)

By volunteering 2 hours a week, you can teach a child to read. As a YMCA READS! Mentor, you will work in a small group environment or one-on-one with a 1st to 3rd grade student, developing positive self-esteem and helping students improve their academic performance. Be a child’s tutor and friend, and give them the keys to a brighter future.
