Planting day is among our favorite days of the year and we would love it if you could join us! Our day starts early and you are welcome to join us anytime, but we ask that you arrive no later than 8:45 am to register and enjoy some hot coffee and delicious breakfast treats.
After a brief welcome, the planting starts promptly at 9:00 am. No need to bring anything- we provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes. Our neighborhood volunteers will also provide a potluck lunch for all volunteers after the planting is complete, we sure do work up an appetite when we plant.
Meet at Alton Baker Park (100 Day Island Rd, Eugene, OR 97401).
RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people. Please contact Jennifer Killian at 541-632-3683 or send an email to jenniferk@friendsoftrees.org if you have any questions or need more information.
We look forward to seeing you out there!
