Halloween Spooktacular at Green Road Park

Join us for this year's Spooktacular on Monday, October 26. This Halloween event will take place at Green Road Community Center.

For this event, kids will participate in a variety of activities and games and dress in their silliest, spookiest, coolest, or goofiest costume. There will be carnival games, prizes, arts and crafts, candy, door prizes and a cake walk.

Volunteers are needed to assist with planning and organizing games, arts and crafts projects, and event marketing on the following dates:

  • Thursday, September 10 from 3-6pm
  • Thursday, September 17 from 3-6pm
  • Thursday, September 24 from 3-6pm
  • Thursday, October 1 from 3-6 pm
  • Thursday, October 8 from 3-6pm
  • Tuesday, October 13, from 3-6pm

We are also seeking volunteers to assist with the Spooktacular event on Monday, October 26. Volunteers will assist with onsite registration, set up and break down of activities, lead and facilitate games, distribute door prizes and candy.

To volunteer, you must sign up using the online registration system. You may sign up for more than one time slot. All volunteers must be at least 13 years old to volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 15 will need a parent/guardian to accompany them.

Each individual will need to complete a volunteer release form. For those under the age of 18, a parent/guardian will need to sign. The release form will be sent to all registered volunteers prior to the date you sign up to volunteer.

Per department policies, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed community service hours.
