Bring your skills and enthusiasm to a small conservation nonprofit that needs weekly help with a mailing project September 24 - November 20, 2015.
You’ll lend your friendly voice, using our script as your guide, to follow up on fundraising letters we've sent to specific donors, and keeping notes on the results. The majority of calls will be leaving messages, with other calls being one-to-one conversations of a fundraising nature. All calls are to folks who already support Wildlands Network, are aware of the campaign and expect a call. There is no cold-calling and typically each phone call averages about 2 minutes.
Strong interest in Wildlands Network's mission, friendly phone personality, clear voice and neat hand writing are important.
Give a few hours, a few days or evenings, the hours are flexible according to your schedule - Tuesday through Saturday. We’re deeply grateful for any time that you can give.
Small, casual office is located downtown, right on the bus line. It’s wheelchair accessible with kitchenette.
We’ll provide snacks & refreshments, and all volunteers will receive a complementary membership to Wildlands Network for one year.
Please call Crystal at (206) 538-5363 or email crystal@wildlandsnetwork.org. Please include your phone number and a good time to reach you.

About Wildlands Network
Location:

Mission Statement
Reconnecting nature in North America.
Description
We create strategies to address the biggest threats to large landscapes across North America.
The worldwide conservation community has accepted Wildlands Network's call for recognition of the core habitats, connectivity and carnivores as fundamental elements of healthy landscape-scale ecosystems. Leading climatologists also recognize healthy landscape-scale ecosystems as the single most effective adaptive response to climate change.
We are creating Wildways, stretching north and south from Mexico to Canada, and east to west, from California to Delaware, that will allow wildlife enough room to roam, to adapt to climate change, find food, shelter and mates.
With our science widely accepted, our focus is now on implementation. The venues of our day-to-day work are the Wildways of North America, each of which presents unique implementation challenges and needs.
