Assist in classroom with every day acrtivities that foster school readiness for Head Start children between the ages of 3-5.
You all need is a loving heart. If you have a hobby you would like to share ( art,yoga,music,dance,craft, reading s) that would enrich the opportunities our children have .

Long Island Head Start is funded by the Federal Government to assist and support children and families living at poverty level or below. We have 24 centers located in Suffolk Country and service over 1675 children. If you love children and have some extra time please volunteer at a center closest to your home or business.
