Help create a truly special event that raises funds for leading-edge scientific research that improves life and health! The Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute (PNDRI) is hosting our 12th Annual Evening of Wine to raise funds for research programs that improve treatments, detection, and prevention of diabetes and other complex diseases.
The Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute (PNDRI) invites you to volunteer for our
12 th Annual An Evening of Wine 2015 Gala and Auction. As an auction volunteer, you will help raise critically needed support for leading edge scientific research that significantly increases our global understanding of genetically-based diseases like diabetes.
A sparkling evening, prestigious wines, elegant wine tasting reception, name-that-wine game, and dinner auction culminate in an extraordinary experience for our guests.
We have multiple shifts and volunteer jobs available:
- Evening Shift-Auction: 30-40 volunteers needed during the evening for various jobs throughout the auction (4:00 pm start)
- Evening Shift-Wine: Do you have your Class 12 permit? If so, we would be delighted to have you volunteer during the Winemaker’s Reception assisting with wine pouring (4:00 pm to 6:30 pm).
We will have meals and snacks available for all our volunteers as well a bottle of fine wine to take home.
For those who want to stay until after the event, we will pull out the excellent Washington wines and you will have a chance to do your own tasting!
