Help out kitties like Simon by cleaning their cages!

Help clean the cat cages at the Franklin Township Animal Shelter. Each cage is cleaned every day, Monday through Sunday, including holidays. Cleaning includes handling the cats and one-on-one attention. Also includes scooping litter boxes, removing bedding, washing dishes, and cleaning cat cages by hand.

All volunteers attend a New Volunteer Orientation. Training is provided "on the job" on a day of your choice.

Second Chance for Animals, Inc. (Second Chance) is a not-for-profit volunteer corporation devoted to enhancing the lives, adoption rates, and experiences of the animals living in shelters. Second Chance is currently assisting the Franklin Township Animal Shelter in Somerset, New Jersey.
