This opportunity is for someone who is punctual, detailed oriented, likes to walk downtown in San Rafael and wants to fill an hour of so in your morning. We need someone who can arrive at 9:30 am at the City of San Rafael Mail Room in City Hall. The volunteer will walk to the D Street Post Office to pick up one box of mail using a hand cart. (If it is raining, a staff person will drive to pick up the mail.) Upon returning to the Mail Room the volunteer sorts the mail into department boxes.
Time Commitment: 9:30am to 10:30 am. Open volunteer shifts are on Monday or Friday. A volunteer can work one day or more.
