Shoreline Athletic Fields Opening Day Ceremony

We are looking for volunteers to help us out with the Opening Day festivities for the new "Shoreline Athletic Fields."

The new all synthetic multi-sport field complex, is lined with a softball field, baseball field, soccer fields (2 full sized fields, 2 U10 fields, 2 U8 fields) and a lacrosse field. There are batting cages, a tot lot, two scoreboards with sponsorship panels, a concession stand, restrooms and a Rec staff room.

We need volunteers from 9:30am until noon to assist the crowd, to pass out gifts and refreshments, to help at the various activities (including speed throwing and kicking inflatables, a home run derby and more) set up for attendees.

Join us for the ribbon cutting for this wonderful new venue!

We are also looking for sponsors to promote their services and provide handouts for patrons.

The opening date is still tentative. We are waiting for construction to be complete before opening the fields.

Currently, 11/7 or 11/14 are the potential dates for opening.
