Provide exercise, socialization and basic training for shelter dogs by walking them or playing with them outside in designated areas. Report on behavior and characteristics observed. Provide basic grooming if necessary. Clean kennels and outside areas.

The Mission of the Humane Society of Aurora is to work in partnership with Aurora Animal Control and Care to increase adoptions and rescues, improve shelter conditions, and to educate and assist the community in responsible pet ownership.
Description
The Humane Society of Aurora was established in 2015 and is 100% volunteer run. We are the official volunteer group of Aurora Animal Control and Care. The goals of the Humane Society of Aurora are to: *Enrich the lives of shelter animals while sheltered at Aurora Animal Control and Care *Help provide a clean and safe environment for animals, staff, and the public *Treat all animals with love and respect *Help match potential adopters to appropriate pets *Educate the public on responsible pet ownership *Educate the public on adopting over purchasing their pets
