We are looking for volunteers to help with heavy cleaning at our animal shelter in the mornings from 8-11am. This entails feeding animals, taking dogs outside, cleaning cages, cleaning litterboxes, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes and doing laundry. Although this isn't "fun", it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for keeping our animals HEALTHY and HAPPY!
We also need volunteers in the afternoon to do end-of-day feeding and watering, dogwalking, socializing of dogs and cats, helping with laundry (the laundry never ends!), greeting customers and answering phones.
If you want to help the animals but don't want "hands-on" with animals, we also need help at our resale shop. This shop is our PRIMARY SOURCE OF INCOME. We need help receiving donations, sorting donations and putting them out on the floor and working the desk and cash register.

We are a small, all-volunteer animal welfare organization located in Momence, Illinois. We rescue, shelter and adopt over 150 animals per year. We also run a resale shop, which is our primary source of income.
