Celebrate National Public Lands Day with the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust! National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands.

Join us for a clean up of one of Alexandria's newest parks! The event will take place at the Polk Avenue Park and will run from 10am to 12pm. Volunteers will be picking up litter and removing invasive plants, such as smartweed and periwinkle.

Please wear clothes that can get dirty- pants, long sleeves, and boots. And bring a water bottle with you. Tools will be provided for you. There is street parking available along Polk Ave.

If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Shannon O'Neil at soneil@nvct.org.
