Calling all volunteers!
Planned Parenthood is looking for volunteers for its upcoming Fall Book Sale, October 6-10 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
Join more than 600 volunteers, Planned Parenthood’s Book Sale is now in its 56th year and is known to be one of the largest book sales in the nation!
Proceeds of the sale fund Planned Parenthood of the Heartland’s education and outreach programs. This vital programming provides age-appropriate, research-based programs in reproductive health, human development and sexuality education for youth and adults in a variety of settings.

All volunteers are invited to shop for free books on Volunteer Appreciation Night, Friday, October 10th from 6:30 - 9 p.m.
Doors will open at 3 p.m. on Opening Night and run until 9 p.m. Admission is just $10 on Opening Night and is free all other days.
Hours:Thursday, October 6: 3 pm - 9 pm
Friday, October 7: 9 am - 9 pm
Saturday, October 8: 9 am - 9 pm
Sunday, October 9: 9 am - 6 pm
Monday, October 12: 9 am - 6 am

Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, has served people of all ages since the mid-1930s. Today the agency offers a full range of quality reproductive and sexual health care services at 14 health centers in Iowa and Nebraska.
Supported by volunteers, partially funded by generous donations and staffed by dedicated and professional employees, PPHeartland continues its tradition of providing accessible, affordable reproductive health care, comprehensive sexuality education, and advocacy for reproductive rights.
