The MAGIC Mentors program assists adolescents through guidance, inspiration, and compassion. The program invests in the future of the community by creating and supervising long-term relationships between caring adults and at-risk school children of all faiths and denominations.
It’s a matter of trust.
Mentoring is a structured and trusting relationship that brings young people together with caring individuals who offer guidance, support and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of the mentee.
As a mentor, you will enhance your:
* Leadership abilities
* Negotiation techniques
* Team-building skills
* Time management skills
* Cultural awareness
A small commitment of only 6 hours per month can have lasting benefits for both you and the child.
