The Event Volunteer position is an excellent opportunity to help out dogs in need while hanging out at a fun event! Your responsibilities may include:
- Performing set-up and take-down responsibilities
- Talking to event participants about our organization and handing out flyers
- Answering any questions a person may have, or directing them to the correct resource
Before this event, we will host a one-hour, online orientation for volunteers to go over your responsibilities. At all times during the event, there will be a volunteer supervisor available who can answer any of your questions
We also request that you:
- Keep the confidentiality of any personal information you handle
- Communicate with other volunteers in a professional manner
- Maintain consistent email communication with Underdog volunteer organizers leading up to the event

Description
Underdog Rescue of Arizona is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based dog rescue dedicated to rescuing and re-homing shelter dogs rescued from the euthanasia list and abandoned dogs in need. We are based in the Phoenix East Valley. We are funded by members and others' donations. In addition, we are an advocacy group, striving to educate the public on the issue of animal welfare.
At Underdog Rescue of Arizona, we believe that all dogs deserve caring, responsible homes and we work to place these special dogs we rescue with the best individuals or families. Be a part of our community today.
