The IMM Advisory Committee isa service-oriented group of active, civic-minded professionals supporting the mission of the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon.With the committee there are three areas of involvement opportunity.
Advisory: serve as group for the IMM staff to use to get feedback/ideas on any facet of the organization, race, or any other area. Areas of need brought to the committee by IMM staff
Organizational: serve on another IMM committee and bring back reports of information to share, brainstorm, get feedback. Information shared determined by organizational committee
Race Weekend: serve in a key volunteer capacity on race weekend. Prior to the race share out progress, needs. Brainstorm ways to continue to grow and improve upon the race weekend experience.
The amount of involvement is member-decided. If you have any questions or are interested in learning more or serving on the IMM Advisory Committee please email Casey Collins at casey.collins@monumentalmarathon.com.

Mission Statement
Beyond Monumental is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. A talented group of civic-minded individuals with backgrounds in event management, sales, engineering, local government operations, education and charitable giving are developing a national destination marathon and half marathon in downtown Indianapolis. Our core goals include: 1. Educating Indianapolis youth about the benefits of exercise, proper diet and healthy living. 2. Combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency by promoting health, physical fitness and wellness in the Indianapolis community. 3. Utilizing proceeds from fund raising activities, specifically a marathon, to fund charities whose missions are consistent with the other purposes of this corporation.
Description
In eight years the IMM has donated over $825,000 to support local education based not for profits, including the Monumental Kids Movement, The IPS Education Foundation, Simon Youth Foundation, & Teachers' Treasures.
