September is Hunger Action Month! Get involved today!
Hunger Action Month is an annual opportunity to raise awareness about hunger nationwide, and in San Diego County. One of the ways we are doing this is by collecting stories on paper plates of community members affected by hunger around San Diego County. Roughly 3,000 plates were distributed and we need help sorting these plates for delivery to the offices of state elected officials.
If you are interested in volunteering for this ONE TIME project, please contact volunteer@jfssd.org.
Volunteers shift will be either 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm
