Get the youth invloved in the fight against cancer!
Individuals in this role should love to work with youth groups and schools. As a Youth Champion, your primary focus will be to work with local schools and youth engagement groups to spread the American Cancer Society and work to get them more involved with the Relay For Life.
The Relay For Life of Jefferson Parish will be held November 2016.

Description
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe including 17 in the greater New Orleans area. Team members take turns walking or running around a track or path for up to 10 hours and raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society save lives. Relay For Life events keep cancer prevention top of mind among participants by sharing cancer prevention information and hosting fun games around the topic. Dollars raised support groundbreaking cancer research, education and prevention efforts, and free information and programs for cancer patients who need them.
