Volunteer needed to facilitate our Bridges to Freedom to Wellness Program. Facilitators will help develope instructions, guidelines and the curriculum to ensure a successful facilitated program. We do require for you to integrate the subject with passion. This volunteer opportunity will help you demonstrate your skills or provide self-growth at the same time you impact lives in a positive direction. Women in Transition appreciates your time and dedication therefore acknowledges your commitment with a Certificate of Appreciation at the end of the session.
This program is designed to help women overcome social barriers and it illiminates the cycle of prejudice by engaging participants in workshops that delve into personal aspects of accountability. It requires that you commit to a one year process which requires ongoing support for the participants for three week sessions spreaded over the course of a year. The trainings consist of several components.
Phases 1-3
Phase 1
The Foundation: Building the Bridges
Phase 2
Coaching: Personal Development
Phase 3
Mentoring: Accountability/Responsibility
These are critical workshops that will require a strong support system for participants. Their lives will positively be impacted in some amazing ways.

Women in Transition is a program that provides services for women and children in need. We use a holistic approach assuring that barriers are broken to help navigate the restoration process. Women in Transition's work is measured by the heart of providing much needed services. Paths are created to secure a safe passage back into society. Our focus is to mentor and educate candidates in need of life-skills development tools leading toward self-sufficiency. To support the journey to living productive lives.
