Hospice Advantage volunteers help by providing "Care, Comfort, and Compassion for the Whole Family." Patients and family members beneit form the many supportive services that volunteers can provide.
You will make a difference by:
- Visiting a patient or family member
- Being a friend!
- Reading to a patient
- Reminiscing with a patient or family member
- Taking a walk with a patient or family member
- Providing a shoulder to lean on
- Walk a pet
- Run errands
- Paint fingernails
- Assist in office by: Answering phones, filing, sending out letters, partake in community outreach events!
At Hospice Advantage, we are eager to connect your unique abilities to the needs of our patients and their families. Our volunteers find that by giving of their time and talents they change the lives of others, and they also change themselves in the process. This is a unique and wonderful opportunity to get involved and make a connection!
