The AWL Afterschool Dragon Zone program is looking for a coaches to lead our after school tennis clubs sponsored by Activities Beyond the Classroom. Coaches will need to be available from 2:15-3:30 at least 2 days a week Monday-Thursday. The goal is to have 4 coaches in two pairs leading a 1st grade through 3rd grade group and a 4th grade to 6th grade group. The tennis club will be recreational and not competitive with other teams. AWL students have excelent behavior in after school and love to play sports. The volunteer must have experience playing the game of tennis for at least 2 years. Description
The Academy of World Languages is a Cincinnati Public Foreign Language Magnet School. Students come from all over Cincinnati to study Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian or English as a Second Language. Our staff and students represent over 40 nationalities and languages. Our ESL students make up over 40% of our student population. They are immersed in our regular academic programs as well as placed in ESL classes according to their English Proficiency level.
